Spreading of the Gospel

The main purpose of founding WAECA was to spread the word of GOD, and remains WAECA's main priority. Once every one to two years, a convention is held in a selected village in the Valley. The convention runs for a week. People come and listen to the word of GOD. Baptisms also occur mostly during this time. Church planting has been our success so far and we have managed to build a few church buildings and organize laymen to these churches.

Baptisms

During each WAECA convention, dozens of people are baptized. If there are revival meetings or major events or revival meetings, people are also baptized before the convention.

Effort is made to ensure new people where the gospel had not been to is baptized and encouraged to baptize. Baptized adventists help with material needs and spiritual/emotional support. We would like to help to spread the gospel beyond the valley in the future. warakamb will be the base.

Church planting/ New church Buildings.

We have started to plant churches in places where non existed. Most were not Christians. Others were not really committed. We start building church buildings with bush materials, and then we are starting to build semi permanent buildings.

 Laymen Training.

WAECA Conventions

During these biennial conventions, a guest speaker is invited to preach the word of God. Even non Adventists attend and some convert during this time. We have the support of the whole valley and this encourages people to come and listen to the word of GOD in big open areas.

The 2008 WAECA convention will be held at the end of December.
