The Current state

The Warakamb Valley is very remote. It is located between two province, confusing whoever will provide which service. Government services are almost non existent. There is only one schooL that is poorly staffed. There are two Aid posts, but only one is staffed at times. There is nothing else.

The need

Many mothers die during child birth. Nobody comes and stops tribal fights. The waring factions keep fighting till they can fight no more. Children suffer from malnutrition. Immunisation happens if they are lucky. HIV AIDs is beeing imported by those who visitt Mt hagen or visit the cities. The poor mothers in the villages suffer.

We dream to have ......

We hope to have a proper school, a proper health centre with water supply, a HIV/AIDs centre and Goat farming area to multiply goat farming. we also hope to protect our environment and plant more trees. Where ever there is space for a tree to grow, there must be a tree.

We also would like to see our church buildings converted into semi permanent.

We were also created by GOD and we also deserve better. Please hear our cries.

WAECA's main role is to spread the word of GOD, but the human needs must also be met. the human body is the temple of the Lord.
